To create a new Create Content activity, click the 'Create New Activity' button in the application header to launch the new activity wizard. The wizard can be launch from either the Dashboard or the Campaigns section.
The first choice you will be presented with is the type of activity you’d like to create. In this case, we will want to select “Create Content”
Next you will be asked to select who you’d like to complete the activity. In this case, we want to select “A Curated List of Influencers” so that we can select and invite specific influencers.
There are three general sections you need to complete to create a curated list, create content activity. They are:
- Activity Network
- Internal Information
- Workflow Options
- External Information
Note: These can be completed in any order but you must fill out all required fields to successfully create the activity. You may use the NEXT/PREV buttons to move between sections.
Your activity network choice is what network you would like the primary piece of content to be created on.
Influencers will be able to create other forms of content, in addition to the primary content type. Additionally, metrics for Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram will be automatically collected and displayed, regardless of which network has been designated as “primary”, as long as they also include the requisite hashtag.
Next you will be asked to fill out your activities internal details. This information will only be shown to other users of the platform, and can be used to communicate between internal stakeholders. Campaign and Activity Title are the only required fields. To create a new campaign, simply select the NEW CAMPAIGN button and enter a name.
The next screen will ask you to select a variety of options that will enable us to automatically create the correct workflow status’. In the future, this will allow ust to automate the movement of influencers between the status’, reducing the amount of time needed to run activities.
Finally, you will be asked for information that will be shared with the influencer. The Required Hashtag, FTC Hashtag, and Description fields are required. Selecting “require Quote and Concept submission” will add an additional step to the application where the influencer will be asked to provide a text only concept and an approximate quote in USD.
You will then be taken to the Overview screen for the activity where you can make further edits. You should also set an image for the activity. This image will be presented to influencers as you send out invitations. If you have any questions or comments please let us know.
