When it comes to running IGC campaigns, we all know that life happens and sometimes certain circumstances inhibit an influencer from being able to post on the specified due date. Whether it’s because of last minute travel or a family emergency, there are times when the influencer will ask for an extension on their post. When this happens, it’s important to follow the below best practices within the platform so that you make sure you that your communications stay organized, especially if you’re scheduling automatic reminder emails triggered by the due date.
After an influencer reaches out to request a deadline extension and a new due date has been agreed on, follow these steps to update the information in the platform:
- In the IGC activity on the Campaign page, go to the Influencers tab
- Click into the Participants pool and select the influencer being rescheduled
- Click the Action dropdown and select “Update Due Date”
- Enter the new due date and click “Ok” to finalize it
- You’ll see that the due date within the column has been updated accordingly
Once you complete the above steps, any reminder notifications that include the Due Date merge tag will pull in this new deadline. Also, any reminder notification emails that you schedule to send out automatically will be triggered based on this updated due date.
Always remember that it’s important to agree on a new deadline with the influencer, and also to note the extension in the platform in order utilize Mavrck’s communication tools.
