By default, email sent through the Platform will appear from [brandname]@brandmail.co. By adding DNS records to your domain name provider, you can configure the platform to send and receive messages through a custom email of your choice using a subdomain.
Our data has indicated that influencers are twice as likely to complete a campaign application sent via a white-labeled email domain compared to a brandmail domain. For this reason, we recommend setting up a white-labeled email domain by following the steps outlined below:
- Select a subdomain that is not already in use by your domain. We recommend a generic subdomain, such as “email”. A subdomain is required to route replies to influencer conversations back into your instance.
- Decide on an email address that matches Address@Subdomain.yourbranddomain.com. Please see some commonly used email address ideas below:
- Submit a request in Zendesk and tell us the email address you have decided on. We will then send you back a list of three DNS records to add to your domain name provider.
- Let us know when your technical team has successfully installed the records.
- We will configure your instance to send email from and route inbound mail to the selected address, sending you a confirmation when the swap occurs.
