Add influencer requirements in campaign setup to communicate expectations to influencers in the influencer campaign manager and facilitate workflow automation.
Create Content requirements are presented to influencers via the campaign manager as Content Requirements. Amplify Content requirements are presented to influencers as Tracking Links.
Types of Influencer Requirements:
“Create Content” Requirements: Any campaign requirement relating to posts created on social platforms (ex: Instagram Posts, Instagram Stories, Blog Posts, etc.)
How To Setup “Create Content” Requirements:
- Click the Add Requirement button in the bottom right corner
- Choose “Create Content” from the options listed.
- Make your selection from the content types listed and enter the number of posts required per influencer.
- Enter your Binding Hashtag. This is a mandatory hashtag that will be used to pull in content for your campaign. Make sure to use a hashtag that you are not already using as a part of another live campaign.
- Note: If you would like to use a hashtag you have used in another campaign, make sure to pause the other campaign, before your new campaign is live. If you have additional hashtags you’d like to be required, add them to your campaign brief.
- Enter your FTC Hashtag. This is the mandatory legal hashtag necessary for compliance with FTC regulations (ex: #sponsored or #ad).
- Repeat Steps 1 - 4 to add additional requirements.
Amplify Content Requirements: Any URL you would like influencers to direct their audience to (ex: an e-commerce site, specific product page). This will make this URL available as a merge tag within your message templates.
How To Setup “Amplify Content” Requirements:
- Click the Add Requirement button in the bottom right corner
- Choose “Amplify Content” from the options listed.
- Enter the URL you would like influencers to share with their audience.
- The platform will pull information from the URL to try and identify relevant images and copy for the title and description. You can edit these to suit your needs.
- Repeat Steps 1 - 4 to add additional “Amplify Content” requirements.
Once a URL is added as an Amplify Content Requirement, you will be able to use a Merge Tag to share individualized tracking links with influencers via your message templates. This allows you to track URL performance per influencer.
Review Product Requirements: Any product review requirements in your campaign.
Note: This feature is limited to licenses with Review functionality. Currently, this integration is available for PowerReviews, Bazaarvoice, and Yotpo customers. If you would like to add this feature to your license, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
How To Setup “Review Product” Requirements:
- In the Influencer Requirements tab, click +Add Requirement and select Review Product.
- Choose if you will select the specific product(s) for influencers to review, or if influencers may select their own products.
- Influencer product selection allows influencers to search your entire product catalog and select any product.
- The product catalog is searchable by product title or unique product IDs.
- Send influencers the review submission links using the "Product review" merge tags that populate in the merge tag menu.
- Note: Review links are not included in the influencer campaign manager.
Managing influencer requirements
A due date is required for all influencer requirements. Utilizing a due date for your campaign will allow you to set up automatic post reminders.
When influencers complete campaign requirements, they will be automatically promoted to the next workflow stage after Content Creation.
Influencer requirements can only be configured when a campaign is in Draft mode.
