PowerReviews Integration Overview

Mavrck’s PowerReviews integration empowers you to collect and syndicate ratings and reviews for your entire product catalog using the PowerReviews Write API.

Once influencers submit product reviews through the Mavrck platform, they can be easily managed and syndicated through the PowerReviews dashboard to distribute across marketing and e-commerce channels.

Integration Setup

  1. Notify your PowerReviews representative that you are partnering with Mavrck and request to receive your Write API keys.
    • You should be provided with the following pieces of information:
      • App key
      • Merchant group ID
      • Merchant ID
      • Locale
  2. Once you receive the API keys, send them to your Mavrck Implementation Manager. It will then take two business days for the Mavrck team to set up the integration.

Multiple PowerReviews apps can be connected with one instance in Mavrck. An instance can be connected to PowerReviews and Bazaarvoice simultaneously.

Review Forms

The PowerReviews integration allows you to create a custom review submission form for each product that is reviewed. Review forms must be configured in the PowerReviews dashboard prior to adding the products in Mavrck.

The default review form includes the following fields:

  • Display name/nickname
  • Review headline
  • Review description
  • Star rating (1-5)
  • Reviewer email
  • Photo or video upload (optional)

Managing Products

Once the Mavrck team has confirmed the integration is ready, you must add all the products you wish to collect review content for to the Mavrck platform.

  1. Navigate to the Configuration section of the platform.
  2. Open the Products tab.
  3. Click Create New Product and complete the form. 
    • Title: Name of the product
    • Description: Short description of the product
    • Image: Direct link to an image file representing the product (i.e.https://images.unsplash.com/photo-1517479149777-5f3b1511d5ad)
    • Page ID: Unique ID for the product which can be found within PowerReviews
      • Note: If the Page ID does not match an existing product page in your PowerReviews app, you will receive an error message
